KHCB Expands to Crockett, TX
In mid January, KHCB began broadcasting in Crockett (located in East Texas) at 93.5 FM. It is a 50,000 watt station that reaches Palestine and portions of Interstate 45 up towards Corsicana. The translator in Lufkin will now be repeating the Crockett signal which will help to improve the coverage of that outlet as well. Crockett is the county seat of Houston County, the oldest county in Texas. Crockett is the 6th oldest city in Texas and was named after Davey Crockett, who fought at the Alamo. The call letters will be KDVY. The previous owner of the station, Gregg Weston, graciously donated the license to KHCB instead of selling it. Part of the reason he chose KHCB was because of our ministry to and response from prisoners. Praise the Lord for this new opportunity to proclaim the gospel.

KHCB is now reaching 56 communities by radio with the Gospel. This includes efforts in English, Spanish and Chinese. People are also listening on the phone app, tablet and internet based smart speakers. Please pray that many will hear the Good News and Keep Him Close By.
